Refund & Cancellation Information

EMPoweRx 2027 Refund and Cancellation Policy

EMPoweRx 2027, hosted by the Society of Emergency Medicine Pharmacists (SEMP), April 1 to 3, 2027, Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina, San Diego, California. In this policy, “the organizers” means Jasper Phoenix Group and SEMP. Jasper Phoenix Group processes registration payments and issues all refunds.

How to cancel

Send your cancellation in writing to conference@empharmacists.org. Include your name and order number. Your cancellation counts on the date we receive it.

Refunds

• Received on or before January 31, 2027: 90% refund of your registration fee.
• Received February 1 through March 11, 2027: 50% refund of your registration fee.
• Received after March 11, 2027, and no-shows: no refund.

Example

For a $100 ticket (an illustration only, not a ticket price): cancel on January 15, 2027 and you receive $90. Cancel on February 20, 2027 and you receive $50. Cancel on March 20, 2027 and you receive $0.

Early-bird registrations

Early-bird registrations follow the same terms.

Resident tickets

Resident tickets follow the same percentages and dates.

Student tickets

The $10 student ticket is refunded in full, not by percentage, if we receive your written cancellation on or before March 11, 2027.

Workshops and optional labs

Paid workshops and optional labs follow the same percentages and dates. If a workshop or lab is cancelled, you receive a full refund of that workshop or lab fee.

Name changes and substitutions

You may change the name on your registration, or send a colleague in your place, at no charge until March 11, 2027.

Switching between in person and virtual

You may switch between an in-person and a virtual registration until March 11, 2027. If the new ticket costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, the difference is refunded to you.

If the organizers cancel the event

If the organizers cancel EMPoweRx 2027, you receive a full refund of your registration fee.

Refund method and timing

Refunds go back to the original payment method. We process refunds within 10 business days.

Continuing education

Access to continuing education (CE) materials does not change your refund. The terms above apply the same way.

Hotel

Hotel rooms are booked and paid for separately with the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay, not through EMPoweRx registration. The hotel has its own cancellation rules; please read them when you book. The group-rate reservation cutoff is March 11, 2027. Cancelling your registration does not cancel your hotel room, and we cannot change hotel reservations for you.
