SEMP’s EMPoweRx Conference is an emergency medicine pharmacy conference hosted by the Society of Emergency Medicine Pharmacists (SEMP) and run by Jasper Phoenix Group, a nonprofit organization. This policy explains what information we collect on empowerx-conference.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect
When you register or buy. Your name, email address, billing address, phone number if you give one, the tickets or workshops you choose, any coupon you use, and your order history. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store your full card number.
For continuing education credit. Your profession and the details needed to report credit, such as your NABP e-Profile ID and birth month and day for pharmacists, plus session attendance and evaluation answers. If credit for nurses, physicians or other professions is offered through an accreditation partner, we share the details that partner needs to issue it.
When you submit something. Abstracts, poster files, speaker proposals, topic ideas and other forms, including the names of co-authors and approvers you list.
When you contact us or join our list. Your messages and your email preferences.
When you browse. Pages visited, the site that sent you, campaign tags in links (such as utm_source), device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address. We collect this through cookies and similar tools described below.
How we use it
- To register you, take payment, send receipts and conference information, and give you access to the live stream, home study and the attendee app.
- To report and issue continuing education credit.
- To run the program: badges, workshop rosters, poster sessions, and room sharing or roommate matching if you ask for them.
- To send conference news and offers if you agreed to receive them. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which emails, posts and ads lead to registrations.
- To keep the site secure and meet legal and accounting duties.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- SEMP, the conference host, for conference operations and member pricing.
- Service providers that run parts of the conference for us under their own privacy terms: our website host and store, our payment processor, our email service, our learning platform for home study, the attendee app, and the analytics and advertising tools listed below.
- Accreditation bodies and partners that record continuing education credit, such as CPE Monitor for pharmacists, and the accreditation partner for nurse and physician credit when that credit is offered.
- The hotel, only if you book a shared room through us, for the reservation.
- Sponsors and exhibitors, only your name, role and contact details, and only if you choose to share them, for example by letting a sponsor scan your badge. Sponsors never receive our attendee list.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of attendees and staff.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar tools to keep your cart working, remember your choices, measure site traffic, and show conference ads to people who visited our site. These may include Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn and Microsoft Advertising. These companies may use cookies to recognize your browser on other sites. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the cookie banner on our site and change your choice at any time. You can also manage ad settings in your Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft accounts. We do not send continuing education identifiers to analytics or advertising tools.
How long we keep it
We keep order and continuing education records for as long as accreditation and tax rules require. We keep other information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for marketing. Email info@empowerx-conference.com. We may need to keep some records, such as payment and credit records, when the law requires it. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under your state’s privacy law, and we will honor them.
Children
The conference is for health professionals and students. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
